Suprise! Brooklyn badass duo Matt & Kim caught fans off guard last weekend at Coachella when they announced and then released a four track EP, We Were The Weirdos. The project was conceived after a three month hiatus and then recorded during their week off between Coachella sets. That quick turnaround captured the creative intensity perfectly, never moreso than on electro-rocker “Let’s Run Away.”

The energetic elasticity longtime listeners are accustomed to galvanizes you from the start and doesn’t let up over the next three magnetic minutes. And then adding a final flair are Matt’s uncoventional vocals and Kim’s swirling articulations. It’s melodic high-energy at its indie-finest.
