The Chainsmokers ft. Great Good Fine OK – Let You Go

Fun story, The Chainsmoker’s latest is technically the first original song the first-class production duo planned to release. Andrew and Alex linked up with Brooklyn outfit Great Good Fine Ok to record this single a couple of years ago but you can blame the overwhelming response to “#SELFIE” for sidetracking those plans.

“Let You Go,” a progressive house cut more comparable to their second smash “Kanye,” is certain to burn up playlists and charts alike. The high quality production you’ve come to expect is everpresent, but it’s the vocal contributions that are the real standout here. In a word [that gets tossed around too often, but I say fuck it]; soaring. GGFO’s lead singer Jon Sandler and his receptive falsetto reach some lofty heights, elevating this groover into the upper bounds of the sensory-pleasing digital stratosphere.

“Let You Go” is out now at iTunes via Dim Mak.
